A minibus took the majority of the riders, support staff and charity representatives from the Hull area to the event. The dining hall was full as wives, partners and familiy members attended to support those who had participated. It was an evening full of laughter and no doubt an odd tear as a video of the three day event was played to those assembled bringing back happy and sometimes painful memories of an event that has created a special bond between all those who were involved. The purpose of the ride was to celebrate the Tercentennial of The United Grand Lodge of England by raising money for eight charities located within the Province of Yorkshire North & East Ridings. The total raised was £32,000 This fantastic sum was divided equally (£4,000 each) between: - Bloodwise, Teenage Cancer Trust, Ova the Rainbow (Ovarian Cancer), James Cook Hospital (Prostate Cancer), St. Annes School Welton, Rydale Special Families, Hull Deaf Centre & Yorkshire Coast Sight Support and presented to representatives of the charities by The Deputy Provincial Grand Master V.
